Head Basketball is an arcade sports game where the players are giant heads with small bodies - a stylized take on basketball where heading the ball and positioning your oversized noggin is the core mechanic. The controls are simple: move left and right, jump, and hit the ball with your head. Because the heads are huge, the hitbox for heading is forgiving, but positioning still matters - you need to be under the ball when it descends and angle your header to send it toward the opponent's hoop.

Position early. The forgiving hitbox helps, but you still need to be under the ball - react to arcs before they descend.

Angle headers by approach direction. Hit from the side to send the ball toward the opponent's hoop; head-on sends it straight up.

Save specials for key moments. A charged special can score or defend when a normal header wouldn't - don't waste them early.

Watch the opponent's special charge. Knowing when they can use their ability lets you anticipate big plays.
